New Set: Storm of Ragnarok

The new set, Storm of Ragnarok, is about to be released! This set features the all new Legendary Six Samurai Archetype. These new Six Samurai cards are very powerful and are going to revamp Samurai decks. The set also provides support for Scraps and Karakuris. Also, a whole new archetype is introduced, the Nordics. They have 3 boss monsters, the Polar Gods. The 3 Polar Gods are Odin, Thor, and Loki; cards based off of the Legendary Norse Gods. This set shows promise and is going to be a big hit once released in the States. I recommend pre-ordering boxes of this set before boxes jump up to prices similar to that of Duelist Revolution (which is about $100 for a booster box).

Effect:

Regionals Tip!

Are you planning on going to a Yugioh Regional Tournament any time soon? Well if you are, you should know a couple things before you go:

1. Regionals is nothing like Locals. There are usually around 200+ people participating in a regional tournament and only the top 32 earn an invite to Nationals. So, don't show up with some janky spellcaster deck hoping to get an invite to Nats. The players who top usually play top tier decks and are usually good players.

2. PROTECT YOUR SHIT!!! I cannot stress that enough! People have their cards, decks, binders, etc. stolen at regionals all the time. Some people go to regionals just to steal someone's stuff. Make sure you keep an eye on your things at all times. Also, just because your binder is in your backpack, it doesn't mean that it is safe. Make sure your zippers are not at the top of your backpack, but off to the side where they are more difficult to get a hold of.

3. Trade, trade, trade. Regionals is one of the best places to make trades with people to get good cards or cards that you need. Technically it is illegal to buy/sell your cards there, but people do it anyway. You just have to be sneaky. If a judge sees you selling/buying you can be kicked out of the tournament and get into a lot of trouble.

These are just a few things that you should know before heading off to a Regional Tournament. If you follow these tips, you should have a great time!

So with the new Six Samurai support coming out soon, duelists should prepare their side decks. Samurais will be a "tier 0" deck so they will be hard to stop. So, I did some searching and I discovered a card that will greatly aid you in defeating the pesky samurai swarm. It is called Warrior Elimination. It is pretty much a Dark Hole against samurais. The card is great for eliminating all the monsters they just worked on swarming to the field. Check it out!
